A global communicator that weight in at just 1,9 kg this satellite phone makes it possible for travelers and field workers to communicate via satellite from anywhere on the planet. As satellites are not affected by national boundaries, the WorldPhone lets you bypass local telecom systems - quickly, efficiently and economically. The WorldPhone is a powerful business tool, with secure voice, data and fax communications to keep you in touch wherever you may be - from Calcutta to Caracas. And from Hamburg to Havanna

Satellite repositioning
As part of Inmarsat's satellite repositioning and network optimisation programme, the Inmarsat Mini M service has been transferred to the Inmarsat-3 (I-3) F4 satellite in the Atlantic Ocean Region West (AOR-W), where it is offered as a spot beam service only.
As a result, all Mini M services are no longer available in the Antarctic Peninsular, or the surrounding waters of the South Atlantic and South Pacific oceans. Users in these areas are requested to talk to their service provider about migrating to Inmarsat BGAN on land or FleetBroadband at sea.
Please refer to the coverage map below to see where service is now available.
